Lyndsey emailed me this recipe for salad dressing and says she is addicted to it! Although the tamari is soy, and soy is not the greatest, it is wheat-free and it’s just a splash, so I think it’s harmless enough – enjoy!
1 tbsp tahini (this is just ground up sesame seeds)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Splash of tamari (wheat-free soy sauce)
1/2-1 tsp black pepper, depending on your tastes
Mix all ingredients together. Thin it out just a tiny bit with water, so it’s still thick, but pourable.
This makes an AMAZING salad with kale, avocado, sunflower seeds, and raspberries (other berries were okay, but raspberries killed it here). I added tempeh, but the carnies could do chicken.
