Peak 5 Fitness team

Our Mission: at Peak 5 Fitness is to build a massive tribe that aims to be fit for a long adventurous life.

What we do and How we do it: What; Give people Fitness & Adventure. How; the two C’s – Coaching & Community.

Peak 5 Coaching: delivers whole health and fitness to our community while inspiring us collectively and individually as we witness victories, one person, at a time.

Peak 5 Community: is a welcoming atmosphere where diverse groups of people – regardless of age, gender, race, sexual orientation, or physical condition – join together to have fun while helping one another work towards a longer, healthier, and more balanced life.

Our Experience: At Peak 5 we have been coaching people for over 20 years to help them improve their lives. Through our years of experience, we have learned that if you want to be truly fit you must have a few key elements.

What we know to be true: We know that fitness is more than how strong or how lean you are, and that your overall fitness should include more than exercise. If your goal is to improve your life then your workouts should be Fun, your target needs to be Longevity and the approach must be Holistic. Our holistic fitness is measured across 5 different domains: Breath, Nutrition, Movement, Recovery, Adventure.

WHY DID YOU GET INTO FITNESS?

I’m an active person naturally, more correctly stated I can’t sit still very long. I love/need to go do, see, and try physical tasks, so fitness for me personally is a requirement. As time went on I spent a lot of time learning how to be fit both physically and mentally (don’t think they are separate or unequal, a balance between the two is key, luckily one usually improves the other). Now because of my thirst for knowledge and the incites I gained my daily role is I get to share with others and help them improve their lives.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A COACH?

To help people improve their lives. Education and accountability are big keys to success, my goal and role are to do both of those while instilling motivation plus giving people a fun time in the process.

WHY DID YOU GET INTO FITNESS?

My college water polo coach introduced the team to Cross-Training and Functional Fitness back in 2007 and it changed my perspective on health & fitness. Coach Danielle was a great mentor to launch me on the path to start learning so much in the way of Functional Fitness and I was immediately hooked. Since then Peak 5 Fitness has become my playground and a place of active meditation.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A COACH?

I became a coach because I can blend my passion for health and wellness with teaching all things I enjoy. Not to mention the ability to share in sweat sometimes even tears of joy in community makes coaching that much more rewarding.
